They say there’s nothing quite like those “cocoa butter kisses.” So why don’t we try pressing our lips against something extra sweet after our morning workout with this coconut – chocolate take on a protein shake! Also, did you know raw cacao is through the roof with antioxidants? It’s an excellent source of fiber as well, helping stave off hunger to keep you in line with your goals! So who said there wasn’t room for a little indulgence in your diet? Give them the boot and get in the kitchen!
- 1 tbsp coconut almond butter (can substitute regular almond butter and 1/2 cup coconut)
- 1 cup toasted coconut almond milk OR any preferred milk base is fine
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 scoop vanilla OR chocolate protein powder
If you’re feeling a little naughty you can always add a tablespoon of dark chocolate chips or top it off with a sprinkle of shredded coconut. Sometimes it’s good to treat yourself, you’re worth it! And don’t you forget it! Enjoy!
